Small and Batch Production
From one off components designed to a simple hand drawn sketch, to repeat batch production of parts from high tolerance technical drawings, we turn concept into reality. The vast majority of all work is undertaken in-house with external specialists only used for surface treatment, hardening and powder coating. The result is a fully finished part ready for fitting.
Whether it’s a simple broken shaft or a catastrophic machine failure requiring many replacement parts and bought-outs, we have the skills to get a production line running rapidly. With the damaged parts back at Precision we can measure the components and produce technical drawings for future reference. This gives the customer a local source for spare parts at competitive prices, mitigating the reliance on OEM’s potential high cost and leadtimes.
Our customers are constantly striving for more from their existing equipment. Increasing the overall life and service intervals of an asset, adapting lines to run new products and correcting flaws of older machinery are just some of the services frequently requested. Precision offer a turnkey solution including initial investigation, taking an asset out of service, manufacturing the replacement parts in-house and retro fitting new component upgrades.

Special Purpose Tooling, Jigs and Fixtures
We have extensive knowledge in designing both punch and die sets and press form tooling. Our designs can be adapted to suit reciprocating press equipment and also linear hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. Precision are equally adept at designing jigs to allow highly accurate and repeatable assembly of components. Welding jigs and clench tools to locate components prior to a secondary process are just two examples of equipment we frequently design.
